How to Install libodbc1 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libodbc1 software package provides ODBC library for Unix, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libodbc1

libodbc1 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libodbc1 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libodbc1 *

You will get with libodbc1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
